I've not seem them for a while, but they were OK without being outstanding.
KOT is important for intoducing Nyssa & Anthony Ainley's Master, while FTD has the interesting aliens who collect people from human history concept, with a few twists along the way.

I enjoyed Keeper of Traken when originally broadcast, one of the better late period Tom Bakers I thought at the time, but haven’t seen it since. 4 to Doomsday, I can only vaguely remember & I don’t think I watched it all.

Traken is OK ,Ainley is good as Nyssa's father Tremas and the fourth doctor and Adric were better in the story when Lala ward had left,but four to Doomsday is probably the worst Davison story for me (Might have to do with all the tribal dance routines they use to pad it out  ) |

I guess they were trying to be educational about ancient civilisations.
Time-flight normally gets the reputation as the worst Davison story, but I've not seen it to find out.

Er...I really like it but unfortunately it runs out of plot by the end of episode 3!Finances were obviously tight during this season so Timeflight suffers from overspend on earlier stories. |

Surely all persevered classic who should be treasured! Heaven knows how much who and other classic gems have been lost to time! Please keep finding and persevering our histroy for some like me special effects are no substitute for a good story no dig new who fans ha ha I wish they would wipe Warriors of the Deep... |

Four To Doomsday is of historic importance to the show.
For various reasons, JNT opted to make it the first two studio recordings of Davison's first season, so it - not Castrovalva - was the first time Peter Davison appeared in a Dr Who (in Logopolis, he had Tom's costume to wear, no dialogue, and only 5 seconds of screen time).
These studio recordings therefore offer a remarkable opportunity to see how he really approached playing the Doctor, when he faced the cameras for the very first time in his new role. His first time in costume, and his first attempt at creating a distinct characterisation for the role. These studio recordings can take us behind the scenes, to see what it was really like for him, starring in a tv show in a new role.

JNT was a personal friend of the actor Alan Stratford Johns, who was the principal guest star on 'Four To Doomsday'. It was a bit dull, but IMHO 'Kinda' and 'Warriors of the Deep' are much worse.
'Time Flight' is a fairly strong storyline, benefiting also from the acting of Capt Stapley. And benefiting from the presence of Tony Ainley. Many later Tom Baker serials have so little plot in the 2nd and 3rd episodes that they might as well have been 2-parters -- I'm thinking of 'Invisible Enemy', 'Sunmakers', 'Power of Kroll' - so it's a bit hard on 'Time Flight' to knock it for having a weak final ep!
