Apparently no-one had posted this yet, but for those of you sensible enough NOT to be on faecesbook...
Doctor Who studio recordings found The Keeper of Traken scenes from episodes 1-4, Four to Doomsday scenes from episodes 2-4
Recovered by Mark Humphries and the Starlord Consortium, in cooperation with Kaleidoscope. Umatics transferred to file by David Martin at Abby Video Productions.

Good to see.By the way,Matthew Waterhouse's audio reading of the Target novelization is brilliant and his impersonation of Peter Davison is spot on and hilarious

Damn and the Blu Ray's been and gone.
Now was this discovery a result of the Blu Ray release jigging a memory or just an archiving in progress chance discovery.

Very nice! Shame seasons 18 and 19 were already made, but like Airlock I'm sure these can easily find homes on future collections.

Where's your source of information as I can't find anything. Kaleidoscope's Facebook page. Possibly he meant for this specific post: Keeper of Traken and Four to Doomsday special editions coming next year from BBC Studios ,Get ready to order your steelbooks soon Which I take to be a joke. For now.

So it's not an official announcement but merely speculation on a potential release. Oh well will keep watching for an official announcement.

Yes it was an attempt at a Joke, hence the Smilies - i don't think even BBC Studios would want to re-release two of the dullest doctor who stories again

Doomsday I'd say yes but Trakens alright.
I suppose they could sneak them into a another seasons box set as bonus items rather than extracting those stories from already released box sets for separate releases.

Same - recently re-watched Four to Doomsday and enjoyed it plenty. Always liked Keeper of Traken. Would have been nice to see a few more stories with just The Doctor and Adric.
