Any listing on which ones of these exist from all the various countries, especially in the 70's? I've been enjoying watching several of these original broadcasts on youtube. I do know that the Ireland broadcast from 1975 doens't exist anymore.

These preview programmes were first shown in 1971. They broadcast them every year until 1993 on BBC1. In 1994 they did an abridged version of the previews, and after that they ceased showing them on BBC1. The BBC has retained them from 1976 onwards.

But the 1977 UK pre-selection show doesn't exist as it was never recorded,or am i confusing it with something else?.

You are confusing the UK selection show "A Song For Europe" with the "Eurovision Song Contest Preview" programmes, which were usually shown on the two preceding Sundays on BBC1 prior to actual "Eurovision Song Contest". The 1977 "A Song For Europe" ended up being broadcast on Radio 2, due to industrial action. The 1979 "A Song For Europe" also suffered from industrial action and was blacked out on both tv and radio.
