Anyone have a clue what show this is from? Could it be from "The Larry Kane Show"? This newspaper listing is for December 5, 1971, channel 3 in Shreveport, Louisiana. From what I could find, The Larry Kane Show was a US syndicated series based out of Houston, Texas. (Like most syndicated TV shows at the time, the air-dates probably varied by city.) Gayle McCormick isn't included on this page: www.retrovideo.com/footage_library/larry-kane-show/But, based on the screen grabs of the other guests, I could see her performance as being from the same series. Anyway, great clip! I remember "It's a Cryin' Shame" but didn't know it was by the former lead singer of Smith.

Larry Kane used a different videotape from what this clip is.

192TV has used the very occasional US TV clip (The Dave Clark Five on 'Hullabaloo' springs to mind), but I don't think it's from American TV either.
