Hi all, Esther Ofarim has posted a request on Facebook looking for any clips of this missing show : To all fans in the UK: I am looking for home made video or audio recordings of this series from 1968 www.esther-ofarim.de/sixpartseries.htm as unfortunately the shows are no longer available in the BBC archives. If someone could provide any recording or has more details of the shows, please contact me. Show of the week "Esther and Abi Ofarim" - BBC - 1968 Thanks. Alan McClean

I believe this a colour still of the duo performing on their own BBC2 televison show in 1968 which is entirely missing from the archives. This photo from sourced from the 1969 BBC year book. I checked TV Brain and there is no record of the duo appearing on Show of the Week, due to their commitments with their BBC2 show at the time. Although Esther Ofarim did appear on the program without Abi on two occasions, firstly on the 11/8/68 edition and secondly in a edition with the Younger Generation which was broadcast on the 13/7/69, both editions are sadly missing from the archives. Alan McClean Actually it was me, who posted it on Esther's facebook site and I am looking for this six part series for ages.
Earlier this year, I was told via TV Brain that someone recorded the audio from these shows and I bought these. But then it turned out, it was not true and after a long hustle I got the money back. So I was very disapointed about this all, as I really would have liked to have known anything more about the shows. But I still have the hope that someone might read this, who really has recorded those shows as video or audio and would sell these to me.

If it is any consolation Esther and Abi were guests on the ATV(not BBC) show 'The Big Show' AKA 'Showtime' in 1968, this is thought to exist. The also appear on a newly released DVD of a show called 'Hullabaloo' 1963 as 'The Duo Ofarim' watch.networkonair.com/hullabaloo/hullaballoo.html

Boy, Cinderella, Rockefeller, or paradies thereof, seemed to be on TV all the time, back in the day.

There also exist many other ATV and BBC shows, which I have bought on DVD from the archives.
But I am now looking for home made recordings.
