From their latest email newsletter:
“Once again, we have uncovered a lost episode of a classic TV series for you. This time it’s The Detectives, showing on Monday at 8.30pm, and starring screen legend, Robert Taylor. This episode, Quiet Night, was first shown in 1961, and is the gripping tale of an ex-con with a grudge holding the detectives hostage.”

What are they talking about? Every episode of this US series survives. Just wondered if that is an assumption because it is American? Not doubting what you say but they too have a few missing shows of that era...I think they had to get some Bilko episodes off the BBC.

Some lost Honeymooners would be nice. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Honeymooners_sketches (I'm honestly surprised to see a Jackie Gleason Special from December 1970 listed as lost).

Yes, there are plenty of lost US series, but generally taped shows, not filmed this late (early 60s) and not ABC network shows.
