I came across this fantastic photo on the excellent tech-ops website (www.tech-ops.co.uk - prepare to lose yourself for hours!) It looks to me like the set of Lulu's live 1969 series (note orchestra to left of shot) I'm pretty convinced the band performing are The Iveys. Anyone concur? If it was them, would they have been promoting 'Maybe Tomorrow' ? You can just see that Johnny Harris' string section appear to be bowing furiously away which would suggest BBC1's Saturday tea-time viewers were being treated to some quality orchestrated pop.
Having said all that TVBrian doesn't list the Iveys as guests on the series unless they featured on 15/2/69 or 22/3/69 for which no guests are listed.
