Just received the weekly email from TPTV which contained:
“It’s been a great week at TPTV HQ – we’ve found ANOTHER lost episode of No Hiding Place on 16mm, this time in a viewer’s private collection - so do keep on checking those sheds! More details to follow, but it’s a cracker.”
Anybody here working with them?

I was about to say that William's "flagship title" is no longer signaling SOS in terms of missing episodes, but rather England Daily Expects, but perhaps I'd better not!

It is interesting they have located four in such a short space of time. Generally there seems to be far little info about the ITV deleted programmes (other than the Avengers) than the BBC- perhaps because the BBC now realises the commercial value of what it wiped! Speaking personally, I had never even heard of NHP before the first one was discovered- the BBC still exists and has had various campaigns focused around Dr Who but other programmes like Z cars and Dads Army as well.
Would be interesting to know if the Collectors who had no Hiding Place knew it was missing- if not who else knows what might be out there. I am reminded of the Dr Who discovery in 2011 when the guy didn't know they were still lost. There also seems generally far less information about the junking processes followed by ITV and its associated companies.

I don’t know how large their email address list is but that could be part of their success. Much of this sort of thing is playing the percentages.
That’s why I’ve asked here if anybody is working with them.

Their latest email says “We’re very excited to have found another lost episode of No Hiding Place on 16mm film. It’s being transferred now, and will be ready to show soon, so stay tuned!”
I don’t know if this is the same episode I started this thread with or another?

You wait ages for a No Hiding Place and then they arrive in bunches.

Pre-1929 crime films are told they have a right to remain silent.

” Lovely. Thanks,John, for spreading the news. "a cracker"? Maybe it's a Christmas one! The BFI have the Christmas one....a jolly old seasonal farce with Raymond Francis (Lockhart) playing a villain as well. but whether or not they would charge TPTV the earth to use it is another matter, they have been sitting on it for 50 + years..so why change anything LOL

Seriously, it's to be hoped that the new discoveries get some TCP.
