I've found an edition of Yorkshire Television's late night programme The James Whale Shoe from around 1993 on the end of a VHS tape I was digitising. Does anyone know the archive situation of the series and if it might be missing from ITV's archives?

You can check the archive status of most British TV on TV Brain.
The James Whale Radio Show has no missing episodes. Three from 1989 exist only on domestic videotape. Any episode from 1993 exists in the original format. However, it may contain continuity announcements, which are of interest to some people.

Thanks Pete. Tony Benn is on this edition so it's especially interesting. Good to know it's in the archive. I'm definitely keeping the ads and continuity. At some point I'll set up a YouTube channel and put things like this up.

Just to cover all bases.Somewhere around that time it moved to London and was independently produced by Mike Mansfield, the London editions are easily identified by the title which was shortened to 'Whale on' The archive holdings on these was no longer the responsibility of Yorkshire TV.
