I'm posting this here to remind myself. BBC4 this Friday (28th Feb 2020). Apparently it was shown in Germany late last year, no idea if there's anything rare or 'unseen' but it should be good. I hadn't checked BBC4's listings in a while so it was stroke of luck I just happened to have a look tonight. There was a good doc on Christine McVie too around xmas. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000frfc

Thanks for sharing this SydV! The Animals in both their r&b/blues and psych versions have always been one of my absolute top favourites - up there with Barrett's Floyd, Soft Machine (who like Eric also had a Hendrix connection), the Seeds, Elevators, Music Machine, Beatles & so on.
Will definitely be giving this a watch - cheers!

An enjoyable docu.
Light on archive footage but it was good that the protagonist got interviewed a lot.
The talking heads were ok too. Normally they irritate me.
All hail the Egg man!

Think we can safely conclude that Alan Price remains off Eric's Christmas Card list.

What is interesting about this doc is that it includes about 30 seconds of Richard Morduant's documentary "World of the Animals" - there are brief scenes of the Animals in Poland '66 (backstage and actual concert footage).
