It has been rumored that the audio of the last episode was found but so far it has not released or surfaced anywhere.
With the beebs history, I'm curious if they may have lost it again.
It would be great if they found a way to share it (either as a dvd extra or on their web page)

Where and how old is the story?

Maybe our own site should be updated too? (Come to think of it, Stuart, I sent you an update for Do Not Adjust Your Set last year, now that two more episodes turned out to be extant. Not sure if anyone will even notice but still.)

Yes. It was claimed to be recovered but was curious if it was lost again as I don't know anyone who currently has a copy. Many times things are given to the bbc and they "lose " it.

Most often audio is simply refused as of no commercial value. Some audio is noted as existing (or returned) but isn't available. I believe there's an episode of Gnomes of Dulwich that's said to exist as audio. The best thing would be for an updated version of the DVD. Or suppose that you have a serious reason, you might try to request a viewing (or should I say, listening) session at the BFI. The last 15 minutes exist anyway; although some say the last TWO reels exist.

And that's well reminded about the webpage element of the site - updated now!

Are there any details on how it came to be recorded?
