Oh! Ta, hadn't thought about that ... For those that don't know ... The Age (Melbourne) and Sydney Morning Herald are online, other city newspapers are not. Canberra and Adelaide are available via Trove. There used to be (to 1980) three listings magazines, TV Week, TV Guide and TV Times, the last an ABC publication. ABC's lawyers eventually told me to reproduce whatever I wanted from it as they were sick of my correspondence. They are quite expensive now; I looked in the Secret Television Room at an antiques shop and was tempted by a dog eared one at $3, only to straighten the cover and find it was in fact $30. Unfortunately legal deposit hasn't left perfect runs anywhere, it may be that some gaps in listings are insurmountable. Foxtel Magazine, which only started in 1995, is in a particularly poor state. My friend's offered me his run but whether this happens is yet to be seen. Andrew's TelevisionAU site is great, but his guides are more representational than comprehensive.

Not exactly the """golden age""" of television, but the NFSA also have this one I missed in my hundreds of visits to their website over the past 10 years:- ""Title No: 295444 Title: 1975 ADMIRAL'S CUP CHALLENGE Production Date: 1975 Produced as: Documentary Media: Film Summary: Shows highlights from the 1975 Admiral's Cup yacht race held in the U.K. General notes: Narrated by Bert Oliver and produced in conjunction with Southern Television, Southampton (U.K.).""
Neither the BFI, ITV or Wessex have this one.
