I'm afraid that I have some very bad news to share with members of the forum. Mark Brown, founder and owner of missing-episodes.com, and a friend to many people on here and in the missing episodes community in general, sadly passed away on Monday 24th June.
Mark had been very ill for many years and his father got in touch with me to let me know that unfortunately he was not able to recover from a severe bout of pneumonia and passed peacefully after a short stay in Hospital.
Obviously, our thoughts and condolences go out to Mark's family.

One of those times when we need a 'I'm so sorry to hear this' button.

I never met Mark, and indeed I hardly had any contact with him, but I shall be raising a glass tonight and my sympathies go out to anyone who knew him better than I did. Rest in peace, guv.

My deepest condolences to the Brown Family. And my most sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Brown for creating and hosting this wonderful forum, where civilised people can share their love of truly timeless film, television and music. I tip my hat to you, Sir, and wish you peace. Thank you for all that you did for all of us.
Tom

Very sorry to hear this, although Mark didn't seem to get involved much in latter years (and sadly we now know why), you always felt his presence guarding his baby so to speak, and not sure how old it is now but the forum must be one of longest lasting after so many have come and gone, and this is obviously due to the steerage of the founder and mods. I didn't know Mark but there is always an empty space left when someone goes, and any tribute by those that did know him would be welcome I think.
