Hello, I'm afraid this post is a bit self-promoting, but this coming Sunday at 1pm I have a documentary going out called Canaries in the Air: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06yyyl7It tells the story of one of the great FA Cup giant-killing runs, Norwich City's run to the semi-finals as a Third Division team in 1959. Plenty there for those interested in the history of football, how it was broadcast in the past and of the FA Cup. But also more specifically, lots of rare archive material, including much which only survives because it was recorded off-air by a fan at home, giving a rare example of things such as pre-match build-up in the 1950s. Anyway, I hope you don't mind me posting this, and I hope you enjoy it if you do have a listen! As with most BBC programmes it will be available online for 30 days after transmission.

Thanks Paul, I'll make a point of listening. I am a fellow football fan ...my team is Hibernian up here in Edinburgh. That was an amazing run Norwich City had in 1959
