I've just spent a few hours digging out and uploading rarities from my collection, hopefully some of you will enjoy them!

Thank you very much for posting these videos Peter. My favourites were Fox and Geordie. Brian Johnstone with hair!...he must be one of the luckiest lead singers ever to get the AC/DC gig. Plus Noosha Fox had a very sexy voice. Talking of sexy Sally Carr was a wee stoater as they say here in Scotland.
Am I allowed to say women are sexy in this p.c. world?

You're welcome William, I particularly like those too. 'All Because Of You' is up there with the greatest glam classics imo.
Will try to dig out a few more bits and pieces in due course.

Some great vintage orphan clips there Peter, love the Chris Spedding and Geordie clips. The account SMS also has recently uploaded some rare 70's pop.

I still get Sally Carr and Polly Brown from Pickettywitch mixed up ,but in my opinion they are both wee stoaters! Hope I don't get in trouble for saying this but I also enjoyed the entertainingly chaotic performance by GG.

Polly was great too, but including Pickettywitch in the book would've been perhaps a step too far (I'm probably pushing it by featuring Middle Of The Road, though I'm glad I did!).
That GG performance was his big "comeback" after a spring '76 farewell tour, and his first since splitting with The Glitter Band. The whole performance is great fun in a slightly shambolic kind of way (I may upload all of it sometime).
When I told people that I was working on a Glam Rock book, the inevitable question was "What about Gary Glitter?", but to me it would've been unthinkable not to include him. He was an integral part of the scene, released some of the most memorable singles, and was one heck of a showman. Sure, I'll get criticism, but I'd get criticised if he wasn't in the book too...
Bit busy right now, but will dig out more glam era bits and pieces in due course!

I first heard Geordie's All Because of You on Radio Luxembourg it was a powerplay I went mad on the intro I thought it was brilliant and went out and bought it.

Dame Twiggy,Joanna Lumley, John Miles. Bit like a mid 70s version of the NME poll winners show. What the hell was Russell Harty doing on it?

Along with all the people you and Jeff named, also present is Tina Charles.

And 43 years later lovely Joanna is hosting the BAFTAS. She really is ageless. Harty looks out of place in his tux amongst all that glitter and make up.....and that's just the male performers!
