Not really Who related, but for those that missed it on BBC2 Boxing Day, Phil Morris talked about his discovery of the Sierra Leone Morecombe and Wise prints. It was very interesting to see the barely watchable film print alongside the cleaned up and re-coloured outcome. It may still be available on iPlayer - article was at the start of the first of two M and W programmes. He hints strongly about the possibility of more finds and more special TV showings.

My new years resolution (one of many, but the least important) is to try and stop reading into PM hints, winks, nods, lead-ins, etc. There an endless rabbit hole. At one point I made a small list of items from interviews, including "I will only release full serials" "the wind is blowing in the right direction" "A few more supprizes to come" "were on top of that one". Show me something... I assume BBC marketing dept follows rational strategy. IF/When something surfaces they will likley wait to release until current items marketability are fully realized. Macra Terror in March tells me nothing in the pipeline near future. We need a new omni rumor, more plausible tales of recoveries, and replace healthy septicemic with gullibility. (just to liven it up). Happy new year all!

"There are other recoveries coming up. I can give you a clue, but I can't tell you any more. This has got a heavy link to Liverpool and I think it's going to be pretty big. I can't tell you any more than that. The people involved don't even know yet."
That was Phillip Morris speaking to the Echo shortly before Christmas. I think it is safe to say whatever he has next isn't Doctor Who either, you are safe to carry on in your business for the time being.

Z-Cars was set in Merseyside, so it could be that. This is probably what was referred to as the 'yet to be announced' material at the time of the M&W / Basil Brush / Steptoe recovery. If it's 'pretty big', then could it be original negatives just like Worzel Gummidge? Just a thought.

Sound exciting! And as already inferred, previously thought lost/wiped performance and/or interview by The Beatles perhaps?
