Previously with EOTW and WOF, yes, but not with any future finds he said. All restoration work done done in-house. No doubt the restored product would be handed to the BBC for work to be done on the DVD content. Here's the reference quote for this, Gonzalo, from an interview with Dan Collins on a Facebook Q&A session July 20, 2014: Dan Collins: Given the remarkable work of the individuals who made up the “restoration team”, is it your hope and expectation that the same experts will continue to work on any new Doctor Who recoveries? I wonder whether as a business going forward you have or would consider developing in-house your own expertise and equipment for producing commercially viable restored material?
Philip Morris: the restoration team do the most stunning work I'm sure you all agree and they are good friends of mine. However due to the scale of the business T.i.e.a do restoration work in-house with restored materials to exacting standards.I wonder what he means by the scale of the business? Sounds promising! Well, scale is OBVIOUSLY a veiled reference to fish, so that means... Underwater Menace. But what did he mean with "stunning"? But wait... Hang on... If you read his exact words backwards, it says: " .sdradnats gnitcaxe ot slairetam derotser htiw esuoh-ni krow noitarotser od a.e.i.T ssenisub eht fo elacs eht ot eud revewoH"... And you really want to try and tell me that that's a coincidence? Slaiteram indeed! Say no more!

Being that its a global business and they are working with materials from all four corners, the sheer volume of materials they 'preserve' it would make sense to have his own team. The thought that his work revolves around DW is quite egocentric.

Maybe he's primarily referring to the work that TIEA do for foreign broadcasters & their archives when he says "scale of the business". There's nothing in that quote that confirms that ALL restoration work is done in-house. Maybe this applies only to a significant portion of his work, whereas any BBC material will be handed back to them to do their own restorations? Well he answered directly in relation to Dan's question about any future Doctor Who finds and the work of the restoration team: the restoration team do the most stunning work I'm sure you all agree and they are good friends of mine. However due to the scale of the business T.i.e.a do restoration work in-house with restored materials to exacting standards.Nothing in the Q&A to suggest a handing over of BBC material prior to restoration work. I think this is why we have not heard anything more since 2013. If the episodes had been handed over to the BBC, would something have leaked out by now? Whereas with T.I.E.A. I get the feeling everything is 100% 'Black Archive', especially after the TWOF 3 incident.

The thought that his work revolves around DW is quite egocentric. Definitely the work of T.I.E.A doesn't revolve around DW finds. PM said he hardly ever gets asked about the other stuff. I get the feeling that after this year's BFI event, people will still be saying 'this non-Who material is great but when are we getting more Doctor Who?' Sad, really, given what else he may have found.
