Re: The Lost Shows database it states that while the 05.02.1967 edition with Harry Smith, Hugh Lloyd, Mick Jagger, Rose Tobias Shaw, Susan Maughan is missing, "a domestic audio recording exists of the soundtrack" has anyone heard or got this?

"Godfrey Cambridge the American actor and comic appeared on either 21.04 1968 or 28.04.1968 but which one? and who else?"
I can't help with the date but from the recesses of my memory I do remember his appearance. Eamonn asked him how he liked to be addressed and he said to not stand on ceremony and just call him God! This got a huge laugh from the audience which was mixture of shock and embarrassment. It was 50 years ago and that sort of irreverence was rare.

Hi Paul, Here's a TV Times readers letter about Godfrey Cambridge... The TV Times was dated May 4th to May 10th 1968 ...
the 4th May 1968 was a Saturday so if Mr Cambridge was on say the 21/4/68 show that 13 days to get the letter posted off by the reader and it printed or if he was on the 28/4/68 only 6 days. So my bet is that Mr Cambridge was on the 21/4/68 show?

I’ve found a few more names in newspaper listings:
08 Oct 1967: Robert Morley 15 Oct 1967: James Coburn, Nyree Dawn Porter 22 Oct 1967: Fyfe Robertson 21 Nov 1968: Julie Rogers
According to a ‘TV Times’ item, Dennis Price was a guest on a Series 4 episode, but I haven’t got a precise date.
I saw a few images from ‘The Eamonn Andrews Show’ on the Instagram page of the Thames TV archive. It appears that Michael Caine, Joan Collins and Clint Eastwood were guests in episodes broadcast in 1968, but the photo captions don’t contain precise dates.

Great stuff Mark thanks I will add them to the list Hi William I remember Mr Cambridge from a particularly fine episode from the mixed bag, sometimes disturbing, sometimes quite mad series called 'Night Gallery' with Rod Sirling. As for Dame Sybil Thorndike .. according to the government and insurance companies - we only lived till we were 42 in the 60s ..and we are living much longer today so we cannot afford to keep you LOL
