(That reminds me, I was once going to try to track down the German versions of the Engelbert show that they appeared on. Only, it disgusts me to have to buy bootlegs, so I didn't.)

No mention of any cuts, I recall an episode on South Africa and also one that featured black & white minstrels.

When I pre-ordered this on June 8th, there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the website. Either I was too late or too early for the rush, assuming there was one!

As for whether certain edits have been made, I can only hope that they haven't. Surely it would be a great injustice to the people affected by such language, and to our more modern social attitudes, to deny the fact that such words were used in the first place. It's not like Network bothered to omit the repeated use of the phrase 'n**-n**s' from the episode South Africa when they released The Goodies: At Last, A Second Helping DVD. Similarly, 2Entertain didn't omit from the Fawlty Towers DVD boxset the line from the Major saying 'the n*****s were the West Indians, these people are w**s'. The Goodies was, at the time, considered to be a children's show! I hope that this, and the existing precedents for other DVDs, will be considered before they get the digital scissors out.

In the product details at the bottom - 'Picture
1.33:1 / Colour / B&W', so presumably yes, still in b/w (it would all be colour otherwise, no?).  But I assume restored to include e.g. the fairly recently recovered 'sex test' scene in Commonwealth Games.

Sue. I ordered it via the site.. there was an Aussie + international mailing option BUT I think it's UK region pressing so you'll need an all-region dvd player.

Region isn't a problem for me, but the pre-order page won't accept a four digit Australian postcode, and it throws me out if I select Australia (or any other country for that matter).

It accepted my Postcode but not my state. LOL. I put NSW in the address.

I've managed it at last, but I had to leave "Singapore" as the default country of destination, render my 3460 postcode as "003460", and put "Australia" in the extra address detail box! Modern convenience, eh?! I hope I haven't wasted my money.

I've spotted only one alteration so far, and I guess it's for copyright reasons. Instead of a clip of Mr Spock on Graeme's monitor in "Invasion Of The Moon Creatures", we get a still of Jon Pertwee as Dr Who.
