Here's a nice treat for any Enemy of the World fans. This is Fantom's most recent public tweet. Mary Peach with Phil Morris holding what I assume to be an Enemy canister! Not sure which one though. 10 lucky ticket holders will also get to sit down and talk with Phil about the search for Missing Episodes. I really envy those people! Hope a few of them can let us know what it was like! Fantom events happen fairly often, so I'm sure there will be more chances to meet actors and actresses from the 1960s. Clive Merrison from Tomb of the Cybermen, director Michael Ferguson, and Avril Gaynor from Macra Terror were a few of the other guests there this time around.

Thank you for posting this. Nice to be reminded of just how lucky we have been in regards to missing episodes

So this event occurred today??Absolutely brilliant.I wonder what sense of progress or revelation PM's interviewers came away with? Was it similar to his EVIL OF THE DALEKS quote on the Special Edition?Philip Morris, for all his percieved faults is truly fascinating...

Always interested to hear what the man has to say From the reports made on other message boards it seems he took one step further from his usual comments. Basically as I understood it he said there are other episodes out there ... however what they are and when they’d be back was not mentioned. How much of this is misinterpreted I don’t know.

Hmm. It is quite difficult to say really unless there is footage. The fans have an alarming tendency to re-imagine what people have said until it resembles what they would like to have been said.
Fingers crossed as ever!

I just love the sense of optimism that comes from PM.The feeling that the MEs are in good hands and there really is no need to worry and to let him get on with the job.Or am I just being brainwashed into feeling that by a Kroton Learning Machine...?

I have a couple of spaces left in my DVD cabinet of classic who I sincerely hope they are filled sometime. Things seem to me to be heading towards a conclusion at long last. Whatever the outcome let's give those in authority space to bring matters to ahead and any potential finds home..nobody wants a repeat of Web 3. Thanks as always to those trying to bring more lost treasures home

It's certainly nice that the lead figure of the search has a lot of optimism.
I'm not into autobiographies at all, but i'd make an exception for Phillip should the opportunity arise. He's certainly a fascinating gentleman, and he's doing wonders. I can't thank him enough personally.

Whilst I can't think of anyone else from fandom who I would purchase an autobiography by, I too would make an exception for PM. I would love to read the details of his search in exotic corners of the globe. Most fan autobiography would be a long list of arguments had on the internet over which was the best doctor or something thrilling like that. I would personally be inclined to give those a miss

The fact that we still don't have the full story of PM's endeavours is what causes me to believe that he may still find/reveal more. Not saying he has anything, but that the case isn't yet closed. Whilst Doctor Who is a good cornerstone, even without that it's still a compelling story that could be quite lucrative for him. I'd suggest that he wouldn't be dragging that out for nothing, even if it's just a chance to follow up more leads etc.

I think everyone on here can agree that his virtual silence is a worthwhile trade for the maintenance of the integrity of his operations. On literally his first Dr Who recovery effort we've already seen that there are opportunists out there who will jump at the chance to mess things up (assuming the station manager was indeed bribed by a hoarder, which is the consensus, and I too am a staunch believer of). I don't blame him for being incredibly cryptic, honestly.

Morris apparently said he had returned some non Who missing materiel to the BFI for their anniversary event in November, but not what it actually was so be interesting to see what gets shown at the end of the year. He also said expect more Dr Who in the future but no timeline given so optimistic but again nothing specific

Perhaps he’s finally got the right type of dog, an episode hound:-)
