Thanks for posting John. Looking forward to Lizzie Dripping - got an unofficial disc of 3 episodes some time ago; & they were great episodes (although had a technical inadequacy to do with the digital reproduction; which meant slight 'freezing' of picture at intervals throughout - which was a bit irritating but didn't prevent it from being quite watchable ).
Must look up Spirit & see if there's a release date.

Nice to see Simon & The Witch listed, I really liked it even if it was a bit pantomime like at times.

John Craven's chair collapsing as he presented Newsround in one episode was hilarious.

Also, as you're probably aware;
it seems the DVD will include all 9 episodes ( ie all episodes of series 1 & 2 ) - as all 9 have been very recently rated for release by the BBFC, and were submitted there by Spirit.

I have read that these 9 are all episodes made except for a Jackanory Playhouse which was LD's first TV dramatic appearance ( which seems to probably no longer exist unfortunately ).

That's right about the Playhouse,unfortunately.

I hadn't twigged about the Lizzies-in fact, I was wondering why they'd skipped season 1!

The Ballet Shoes was released on video, edited, years ago, and that version came out in the U.S. on DVD. (Thanks to Ian Beard for this info).
