when dinky issued thunderbird 2 in 1967 it was coloured green & viewers saw thunderbirds first in black & white,i remembered in a 1967 issue of 'meccano magazine' the pictures of thunderbirds 2 & 4 were in black and white & they were made in the right colours TB2 in green & TB4 in yellow.but when colour TV arrived in 1969 when 'thunderbirds ' were seen in its original colour form, the green TB2 was still available but in 1973 dinky reissued TB2 & changed it to blue but kept TB4 in yellow.this was because dinky thought the green in the model looked a bit military-ish.to be honest TB2 does'nt have that army image.

Tried to reach the estate to ask if the films from the biography weren't still there, but when they finally understood the question, they were a bit like "of course not!".

"It has transpired that the episode of World of Wooster scheduled for inclusion was misidentified and is actually another copy of the one existing episode from this series and so will no longer be screened. It will be replaced by an episode of Til Death Us Do Part entitled Intolerance."
Shame.

The 70s one was blue but the 60s model was green so I don't know why Dinky changed the colour scheme.

Perhaps they got it confused with Thunderbird 2, such an easy mistake to make. Pillocks, lol.
