I wasn't even sure if it was possible to watch both parts on one evening via catch-up. Anyone know?
Given that there are more channels than fifty years ago, it wa easy for people to use the end of the 'First Act' to jump ship, resulting in far lower viewing figures for Part 2.
Shame there's more chat about the show when it's too late!

An old thread, and on the wrong board, since all episodes survive, and were realeaed on DVD by Network...but at least it's on-topic! Talking Pictures ran Crown Court for a while recently, a fact I forgot to post here-but gave it up. I didn't quite catch the reason, but think it was simply lack of interest. This was a shame, not least because there was never a complete-series box-set issued, and one of the series was deleted fairly quickly, causing it to go up to megapounds. Perhaps if I'd actually mentioned that TPTV were showing it...? Anyone know if they got round to the early-deleted episodes? Sadly Network only released 8 volumes of Crown Court on DVD which covered cases 1-97, broadcast October 1972 - July 1974. There were over 200 more cases ITV broadcast in the 10 years that followed. I was rather hoping TPTV were going to live up to their statement that they were going to show every episode. However, at the rate they were being televised, it would have been a mighty long wait to get to the end!

I really wish instead of starting at the beginning they had started where Network left off.
I suspect that quite a few people would have been waiting for the “new” episodes to appear. I know I was.
They could always have gone back to the beginning at the end.

A Complete Series set would've been quite impressive. I'd've prefered it to the Crossroads set. A Mausoleum Club thread had links to a fascinating website which in-depthed some of Network's episodes.

It appears Noel Cronin must have been reading this thread and today he has some good news to impart!
<Noel knows many of you were disappointed about the announcement about Crown Court so we are trying it again in a NEW SLOT with three episodes back-to-back in one day from the very first episode on Thursday 7th March at 3pm! Can you spread the word? If this gets the audience levels we need then there may just be good news… We’ll show the first episode of 1972’s three-part Doctor's Neglect at 3pm, followed by episode two at 3.30pm and episode three at 4pm. Remember every Thursday at 3pm.>

All the more reason to watch it on TPTV!
