Cinema Club / VCI released a few "best-of" volumes on DVD not to long ago, but I believe these are now out of print.
Network has this on the cards for a release. It'll bound to happen sooner or later.

Aren't these the non-standard length ones (aboout 45min) that didn't get repeated for a long while.
I think the last time I saw them was mid-day on Saturdays quite a few years ago.

All exist as they were shown in full 40 mins on Granada Plus in its infancy,then later shown again edited down to 30 mins!

If so, it wouldn't have been John Alderton as Bernard Hedges, as he'd left by then. It was the David Ffichet Brown character that took them to the cinema once. |

series 1 episode 1 was on tv heaven in 1991 or was it 1992?
I think that's the only b/w one that's been shown in the past 16 years
