Thanks for the digging."

Great thanks to William for locating and posting those television schedules, it looks as though William has found out that there was an episode for 10.07.64, which is not one of the 13 listed on lostshows.com. With just over a day and a half of this threads creation, let's take a look at the state of play.. this is where we started.. 12.06.64 Episode 1 ? 19.06.64 Episode 2 ? 26.06.64 Episode 3 ? 03.07.64 Episode 4 ? 17.07.64 Episode 5 ? 24.07.64 Episode 6 ? 31.07.64 Episode 7 ? 07.08.64 Episode 8 ? 14.08.64 Episode 9 ? 21.08.64 Episode 10? 28.08.64 Episode 11? 04.09.64 Episode 12? 11.09.64 Episode 13? this is where we are currently at..with Clive Goodwin as the host/master of celebrities 12.06.64 Episode 1 Brian Epstein and 5 others? First edition 7.00 - 7.30pm 19.06.64 Episode 2 Jane Asher, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Miriam Karlin, Stirlin Moss, Tommy Trinder, Lord Willis 26.06.64 Episode 3 Hermione Baddeley, Duchess of Bedford, Patti Boyd, Bernard Bresslaw, Charlie Chester, Patrick Macnee. 03.07.64 Episode 4 Liz Fraser, Lionel Bart, Stubby Kaye and 3 others? 17.07.64 Episode 5 Dave Clark and 5 others? 24.07.64 Episode 6 Kenny Lynch and 5 others? 31.07.64 Episode 7 Alfie Bass, Wolf Mankowitz, Humphrey Lyttleton, Helene Cordet, Lousie Cordet, Susan Wilding. 07.08.64 Episode 8 Shirley Bassey, Diana Dors, Frank Muir, Denis Norden, Alexander- Plunket Green, Mary Quant. 14.08.64 Episode 9 ? 21.08.64 Episode 10? 28.08.64 Episode 11 Larry Adler, Stratford Johns, Ray Martine, Melinda Marx, Marjorie Proops, Sylvia Syms. 04.09.64 Episode 12 Earl Of Arran, Maureen Cleave, Alan Freeman, Hy Hazell, Evelyn Laye, David Nixon. 11.09.64 Episode 13 Georgia Brown, Brenda Bruce, Angela Douglas, Ian Hendry, Graham Hill, Kenneth More. and another episode not listed on Lostshows making it 14 episodes..SEE POST IMMEDIATELY BELOW, 3/7/64 TRANSMISSION CANCELLED! 10.07.64 The Countess of Dartmouth, Shirley Anne Field, Humphrey Lyttleton, Alicia Markova, Frank Muir, Denis Norden. As there seems to have been 6 celebrity panellists in each episode, that amounts to 13 x 6 = 78 celebrities, so far we have found 48 of them, with another 30 to find. In locating the panel for 28.08.64, I had the privilege to see that The Celebrity Game was being shown at 7 pm on Friday on Anglia, Southern, Westward as well as Rediffusion, but I do not know if this was screened by ATV, Granada, Tyne Tees, Ulster or any of the other ITV Channels, perhaps others can confirm if it was shown in their area as well and even tell us who the celebrities are, that we so far, do not know please..

my sincere thanks to the excellent tvpopdiaries site which has provided us with the following about The Celebrity Game Friday 12 June 1964 Rediffusion The Celebrity Game 7.00 - 7.30 pm (First edition) Brian Epstein Friday 3rd July 1964 Rediffusion The Celebrity Game (transmission cancelled) also on 3rd July 1964 Rediffusion RSG! 6.08 -7 pm (transmission cancelled) and Five O Clock Club Rediffusion (transmission cancelled) Friday 10 July 1964 The Celebrity Game Lionel Bart (this was originally scheduled for 3rd July 1964), but this does not tie in with William's upload of the Television Schedule for Friday 10th July 1964, but since the 3rd July 1964 was cancelled, perhaps we revert back to 13 episodes, rather than 14? Friday 17th July 1964 The Celebrity Game Dave Clark Friday 24th July 1964 The Celebrity Game Kenny Lynch I have amended my post above this one, to show Brian Epstein, Dave Clark and Kenny Lynch in the appropriate episodes and mentioned 3rd July 1964 episode.. transmission cancelled. Now we have 48 Celebrity Panellists, but still need the other 30..perhaps other members and guests might know?

Just been fortunate enough to view other ITV Television Schedules for Friday 28.08.64...they confirm that The Celebrity Game was also being shown at 7 - 7.30pm on ATV, TWW, Granada, Channel, Wales West And North, so it seem to warrant almost a complete ITV network showing, although I do not know if it was shown by Ulster or STV, Border or Grampian..others maybe able to tell us..
