Well, I guess it's time for the next poll.
Some of these the original color no longer exists, but we're fortunate that chromadots and beta reconstructions can do wonders.

Daemons over rated for me. Some of the others over long. This is not as easy as it seems....... But Terror scared the hell out of me as a kid

For me, it's a tie between autons and mind of evil. I love the circus colors in autons but mind of evil is a great story that remains strong though-out.
Even though I picked one, it's really hard to call it a favorite as I love both so much. And may end up changing my mind

Had to choose one ... so difficult. Aaarrgghhh!

I am still with the orthodoxy. I picked The Daemons.

I've never got to grips with Mind of Evil. Sorry to say but it seemed a bit naff and too long.
I'll give it another try over Xmas.

Do I vote based on the first impact of these stories viewed as a kid or more recent viewings on DVD as a grown-up (kid)? The kid wins and I went for Terror as the killer daffodils, hungry plastic chair and nasty toy made a huge impact on us way back then, not to mention horror-struck adults. Just what we needed after all those endless football pools results on TV and before The Generation Game or whatever boring telly filled the schedules back then. The Daemons would be a very close runner-up. And I'm pretty sure that Axons was popular at the time. Colony was drab and for some reason Mind of Evil didn't register (at the time) though I rate it now.

I really like Season 8, so it was a hard choice, but I just love The Dæmons! It's one that I can watch over and over and never get tired of. However, Terror of the Autons and The Mind of Evil are very close behind, they're also brilliant!

This is a difficult task! Why not ask about Season 11? I like bits of all these stories, and Roger Delgado's in the lot! Not a huge UNIT era fan, but I can see good stuff in the stories themselves. Mind Of Evil is a bit of a Season 7 throwback, and that's not a bad thing. However, I tend to like the 4 parters more, in terms of pacing. Colony In Space I think could have done with a bit of tightening and still retained the parts I like most, that are ably served by the guests for that recording block. Despite Pigbin Josh and the blanket monster, not to mention the shower cubicle nuclear reactor, there's good stuff in Claws Of Axos. The ep 3 cliffhanger is a personal fave, and the story also gives Delgado some lovely comical moments. The Daemons was wonderfully inspired, very much in the then current vibe of odd doings and devilry in a rural setting. But I think I'll have to wuss out, and go with Bob Holmes's Spearhead sequel as it's a rattling good yarn, as Terrance Dicks would put it, and because of BH's eye-wateringly hilarious piece that touches on it in Peter Haining's The Doctor Who File.

I forgot to mention that I do like Katy's outfit in Axos which is the main reason I watch it. To quote a wise man who said " Life is short and you are Hot!!!" And no actually I voted for Terror just because it's still one of my most favorite Jo Grant stories, Made me afraid of phone chords for ages afterwards.

Don't mock the Shower cubicle reactor it was the latest in British engineering
