Nice one Tony! Much of the Black Sabbath back catalogue would need a re-write to achieve airplay on PC FM.

And what about the alternate lyrics which were used by Max Bygraves for 'Fing Ain't What They Used T'Be'.The single and the Royal Command (?) performance dropped the lines about:
Once in Golden Days of yore
Ponces killed a lazy 'ore
But fings ain't what they used t'be.

In fact...surely in the original version the mum is on the child's side? "We don't want you gettin' a belt from your dad" in effect.

'Fings ain't what they used to be' is a great example of a song that wouldn't get out of the starting blocks now regarding airplay. check out some of the other verses too.

I also understand from a BBC insider that due to recent events a certain "Fred" has been arrested regarding allegations of activities said to have taken place in the early sixties with seven little girls on a back seat.
