A very worthwhile project that REALLY deserves to be backed here. It could lead to so many more possibilities.
CHRIS PERRY
"I was on Facebook a few weeks ago and talked about Kaleidoscope's plans to launch a single disc release of "The Native Hue of Resolution" on DVD. I received an encouraging response. Some people here then messaged me and said they would like to see a second disc released. Kaleidoscope indicated to those people that it would work with them to produce a second disc if they were willing to put up some seed funding for the project. The single disc version will happen regardless but if you would like to see a 2-disc release then you may wish to help Kaleidoscope with the venture. Thanks Chris Perry

If this appeal reaches the £4000+ funding, it will mean some rare TOTP Pans People performances could be included along with other 'lost' gems. It's a really great idea, and probably the only way some of this lost footage will ever be seen by the masses.

Great to see so many have pledged their money to back this project. It's exceeded the £4000 target which should mean a very good bonus DVD of Pans People and other wiped gems indeed. Hopefully this will be the start of things to come.
Keep pledging, the more they raise, the more will be included

I just 'pledged' and noticed they're well over the target. Well done to all concerned. Maybe there's a bit extra to squeeze a couple more clips on

Some people have begun to enquire about the dvd release date for The Native Hue of Resolution. The plan was to release it on the 6th December 2014.
Rory Clark has constructed a fabulous new edit of the film and some great featurettes for disc one; aswell as restoring and collating disc two.
However, we have hit a few snags. Clearing the Pan's People footage is proving very difficult; and the manager of the group has said no. We have gone back to him and offered to show him the cut of the film featuring the PP footage. We are hopeful that this may change his mind.
The other slight delay has been caused by the very welcome support of Phil Morris. Phil spends most of his life jetting around the world and last year when we made the film he was out of the UK. He has now seen the film and would like us to shoot some new footage with him, because he feels the footage would be better spoken in his words and not Dick Fiddy or Chris Perry putting words in his mouth. Actually arranging this interview will still be quite hard because right now Phil is in Africa again and then he goes elsewhere so we are trying to find a date in December that suits him.
This means that the film is unlikely to come out until February or March. It is likely that we will hold a special launch of the film the night before the March event, and will show some of the missing material currently being found and returned to us, as part of that night.
We hope people are happy with this plan?
Thanks
Chris & Rory

I see one of the backers is already ebaying their copy of this limited DVD set. It'll be interesting to see how much it goes for - or whether the auction will be taken down - as it does say on the back of the box "FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY".
Chris also stated in his last post on Kickstarter:
