Discoveries 88-95: The Ray Swinden Collection
After yesterday’s highly successful Missing Believed Wiped the BFI National Archive is delighted to announce this great news!
The bulk of the new material found by the BFI Curators this year has come from one source. BFI Curator Gosta Johansson oversaw the BFI receiving the 16mm b/w telerecordings of a private collector Ray Swinden. These are believed to be the missing items:

Made by the BBC sometime after the first animals in space, but before Gagarin. Genome doesn’t find a tx date.

Presenter in studio apparently talking about newspaper illustrations.
