Didn't the families find a stash of photos, scripts, etc. yonks ago, possibly leading to a TV prog? The shed that keeps on giving!

I remember one occasion (TOTP I think) where Marc Bolan had a curly lead coming out of the jack socket on his Les Paul guitar and going into his back pocket! Better than cold fusion!

An episode turned up-blimey!-almost a decade ago: wipednews.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/ourmanatstmarks/ when "It’s recovery brings the total number of surviving episodes to four and doubles the number of surviving episodes to feature Carry On . . . star Philips in the lead role." so these new 'uns almost double the total number of survivors. Added: Ah. I did a double-take at the MC post's reference to Donald Sinden as the lead, but as Wiped News notes " (Leslie) Philips only appeared in series one of the show. For the remaining two series (1964–5), Donald Sinden took over the charge of St Mark’s as vicar Stephen Young." so we know that these new discoveries are from 1964 or 65.

"Basil Sydney starred as Maigret in the live presentation of Maigret and the Lost Life as part of BBC tv’s Sunday Night-Theatre in 1959, Rupert Davies then starred as Maigret in four runs of Maigret each of which comprised thirteen editions from 1960 to 1963, and then Rupert returned as Maigret in a one-off Play of the Month – Maigret at Bay – aired in 1969. The forthcoming Network set presents all the existing material: i.e. the 52 episodes and the 1969 play." cstonline.net/maigret-et-le-programme-en-diffusion-by-andrew-pixley/I'd barely registered that the 9/2/1969 play is also on the set. Good news!

"It's...one of those songs that you hear now and then You don't know quite where, and you don't know quite when...".
I thought, at first, that this thread was about a show similar to Not Only But Also!

Title fixed. Not a great sale. Silly not to show the lower prices. Surely they could have done a 'Was £xx, now £x'?

This is a new audio recording adaptation of the successful spin-off stage play by Miles Tredinnick from the Frankie Howerd classic TV comedy. It features an all-star cast: Frazer Hines (Emmerdale/Dr Who) as Ludicrus Sextus; Cleo Rocos (The Kenny Everett Show/Celebrity Big Brother) as Suspenda; Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE (fondly remembered as one third of the TV comedy trio The Goodies and a panellist on I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, on BBC R4 for 40 years) as Captain Treacherus; Jack Lane (Dad’s Army Radio Hour/Wisdom of a Fool) as Nausius; Madeline Smith (Hammer Horror star who appeared with Frankie Howerd in the films Up Pompeii and Up the Front) as Ammonia; Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler in Doctor Who) as Voluptua; Rosa Coduri (Lucky Man/Jekyll and Hyde) as Erotica; Jilly Breeze (Da Vinci’s Demons) as Senna; Ben Perkins (Hedda Gabler, 2016) as Corneous and producer/director Barnaby Eaton-Jones. "we’ve accepted nearly 900,000 edits that have been submitted to our listings."
At least they're listening.
