'A THRILLER in Every Corner'. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedIt's an incredibly meaty tome that goes beyond coverage of 'Thriller' itself, with lots of detail on the happenings in British television at the time the show was made, with copious memories and commentary from those that were there - both sides of the camera. Grab a copy for a real treat for anyone interested in vintage UK TV. A THRILLER in Every Corner book link

Just came across a second YouTube video review of 'A THRILLER in Every Corner' alongside a look at the series itself and its main UK DVD release. The book certainly seems to be making an impression on many people. It's certainly packed with information and quotes/anecdotes A THRILLER in Every Corner Book Review Book Link

Just been catching up on the many location shoots as featured in Thriller as documented in 'A THRILLER in Every Corner', commonly in the Home Counties near the studios in Borehamwood or in London, but also further afield e.g. in Oxford, Dorset and as far as Devon.
Most seem to have been identified and included in the book but there are some that are still a mystery!
Anyone e.g. know the location of the house and farm as seen in 'Nurse Will Make It Better'?

Often wondered why the series couldnt be released on disc. This was good TV. Sort of answering this 12 years on! I believe the rights are tied up with the Ralph Edwards estate who don't licence them out (or ask for such huge sums that no third party bother). Although the UK version was made by Thames. Fremantle don't have the rights to market them as they would with other Thames programming.

For anyone interested in the general environs and mechanics of British TV during the 1970s and the specific shenanigans of Lew Grade's ATV and its mercurial New York ITC office under Abe Mandell (whether a specific fan of 'Thriller' or not), this is a must read! A pre-Easter treat or vintage and cult television fans! Also worth checking out the reviews on the book's page. A THRILLER in Every Corner
