Why don't you report him then? Do you know the seller? No.

I'm also grateful for all the PM has done for fandom over the years but in the modern reality of missing episodes. IF you have no news that you can share with every one then keep it to your self. All it does is create needless stress and speculation amongst the fans. Its great to know that 6 episodes are out therein private collectors hands though but I am letting it go at that. I have no idea of the names of the missing episodes but if I did know I would probably get worked up over knowing exactly what exists that I cant see now or perhaps will never be able to see. I didn't realise that Boris had done anything to help recover missing episodes!

It’s now five years since the official announcement of the return of all bar Episode 3 of WoF together with all that was missing of EotW - and we now know that PM actually located them in late 2011. The omnirumour - as some of us quickly spotted - was little more than an omnishambles and it’s difficult to believe that there are many, if any, places that PM is yet to get into. Unless we believe - and I don’t - that PM has a sock drawer full of MEs the well is looking increasingly dry👎 Probably the best hope for the future is collectors - odd MEs recovered from the destruction pile. It's actually 6 years since last recovery.

Fantastic! I love the simplicity of the story - none of the 'regeneration history', 'how will they measure up?', 'bookmaker odds', 'mythology', Zoe Ball hyperbole / shoved out of context into the middle of a Wimbledon final b*llocks you get these days. They're just changing the actor out of the blue. Tune in to see more. The story about the vicar and the choir girl was nice too. I wonder how that panned out.....

Until the real thing is announced, let's enjoy the fakes. If they are good then we can stop waiting for the originals.

I remember that he caused a storm at the time. He was asked what he ate and he replied "viewers letters". Viewers with no sense of humour got rather offended by this!

[And even if we know exactly what landfill the episodes were taken to and asume that there is a vague but considerable chance for MEs to may have survived there, who would actually scourer a landfill for them, would they even get permission to do so, etc.
Someone like Phil Morris probably has the contacts to do something like that. He claims to have dug up places in deserts so he's probably used to looking long and hard for things. He could investigate the same landfill that Crusade part 1 was found at to see if there is anything else. They may even be non Doctor Who film prints just sitting there.
Unfortunately, there will be 40 years worth of rubbish on top of them.

Also, the music and special effects were missing. So less than 56% completed.

I remember that there was often a trailer when a new story started in the 1960's. Just before 1pm news on Home Service/Radio 4.

A few year's ago we located an great store of reel-reel recordings of 'lost' radio and t.v. programmes from the 1960s in Southern Ireland. We are currently digitising them all - its a long job editing out all the artefacts. We will offer them back to the Beeb as and when.
Any "Francie and Josie" in that haul?
