Browsing the recent "Stewpot" thread on Ray's reply listing the missing episodes it shows yet another of Pickettywitch's performances missing
I was wondering whats left of the bands tv appearances.
I know there's the black and white footage of "It's that same old feeling" from TOTP (please someone restore)
and the excellent colour clip of "Sad old kinda movie"
there is the poor quality promo of "Summertime feeling and an Australian studio version of the song" and the euro show performance of
"Baby I won't let you down"
But I seen listed their appearance in many pop/light entertainment shows (I know their "Lift Off" performances are missing)
surely there must be more in existence - maybe Top Pop or Disco - could anyone enlighten me?

Just to confirm Pickettywitch never performed on Avro's 'Toppop' in the Netherlands.

EV: with Kenny Everett, Barbara Cartland, Stromboli and Silvia, Pickettywitch (28.11.70) This is featured at the end of The Best of Ev edition that we'll be showing in Stourbridge on June 7th. Sadly, it has end credits rolling over it, but at least there is some form of record of the performance still in existence. I'm not sure, but I seem to recall the story behind the Best of Ev that we're showing, was that it was found under a floor at LWT. I'm sure I've only partially got that story correct, but looks like it came from a U-Matic. ITV supplied it to us on digibeta for use in the Kaleidoscope documentary. The quality was rough, but I've done a bit of denoising to clean the picture up a bit. Sadly the sound is a little clipped and there's nothing that can be done about that as it's all down to whoever did the original transfer from the U-matic or whatever domestic format it was on.

I know 'Up in a Puff of Smoke' exists from Umatic as part of the 'PVL' collection, from TOTP.
If I recall the '45' version of this some has the AUDIO only on youtube, again, from a domestic recording.

There's also a performance existing of Sad Old Kinda Movie as featured in "Ev" (the compilation of which was screened at the Kal event yesterday, saved from the only existing footage of the series on a colour U-Matic). The end credits run over the end of the song but it is, at least, something else to represent the group.

"Festival europäischer Schlager" from 1970 was on ZDF Kultur this morning and up popped Pickettywitch doing Baby I Won't Let You Down. I don't think this has been mentioned so far, has it? I recorded this performance by chance. The show is on again on Wednesday. One of the hordes of ever-vigilant "fritz" users on YouTube has posted it from an earlier showing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp-GYBYW0EI
