Hi. I'm too young to remember them first time around but I loved the 80's reruns on Channel 4. I just wondered if anybody knew the state of the archives for this show, how many survive and how many are missing?
Thanks!
The episodes from 04-Oct-1963, 20-Nov-1964 and 11-Dec-1964 are known to be complete.
Most of 20-Mar-1964, 27-Nov-1964, and 3 other episodes survive. Dave Clark may have the complete episodes of these.
Plus, there are excerpts from five 1965-66 episodes.
Based on this, it's possible that only 8 complete RSG! episodes survive, along with the clips from 5 other episodes.
This has been posted before. But here's a (slightly updated) list of known surviving RSG! shows & clips compiled from the 1980s repeats and other sources.

The Millicent Martin & Alma Cogan info comes from this newspaper:
trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/107517560?searchTerm=%22Ready%20Steady%20Go%22&searchLimits=...from when the episode was screened in Australia.
