Hoaxer

Hi all:
Over at Amazon UK, there are customer discussions. One of them is called 'Doctor Who DVD Release Schedule...'
Well, there was a guy who posted a hoax there and who later openly admitted to this hoax. His name on the discussion form was M.B.E. of Tooting (though he briefly changed his name to 'The Reviewer').
One thing about this hoaxer is that he gets early release copies of the DVDs and reviews them on Amazon UK, so that narrows the number of people that M.B.E. of Tooting could be.
Yesterday, when I again pointed out on that discussion forum that he is a hoaxer so his information is not to be trusted, he took the step of changing his online name to my name 'Douglas J. Wulf' in the discussion forum so that his posts appear to have been posted by me.
Of course, I have reported this theft of my online identity to Amazon UK.
I'm posting here also because hoaxers involving the recovery of Doctor Who episodes have long been troublemakers. Also, this hoaxer is someone being given pre-releases of DVDs, so someone here may very well know who it is.
Thanks for your kind assistance!
Doug Wulf (The Real One!)

Just make sure you wear your false red nose so we can tell you apart.
Or your real red nose.

Just make sure you wear your false red nose so we can tell you apart. Or your real red nose. Well, this is another picture of me, but it's kind of dark. It's on my real profile, not the spoof one. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pdp/profile/A1AFTXM00GIKYQ?ie=UTF8&ref_=sv_ys_4I asked the people at Amazon which they thought was the better picture of me.

Amazon UK tells me that they will review the user's activity on their website and monitor the account. Here is the user's profile page with DVD reviews: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pdp/profile/A2IHIH0D8FC5D1/ref=cm_aya_pdp_profileNote that the individual received the DVD of Moonbase early. Amazon UK tells me to communicate any further malicious activity. Just send me a PM with any further info. Thanks all!

Hoaxers are vile and if you have the courage to confront them, they go on the attack against you.
I pointed out this individual's hoaxing after he openly confessed to it himself.
But we are all tired of hoaxers. There has been too much of it for far too long. I still think we should call it out when we see it.
Thanks to those who have gotten in contact with me. You've renewed my faith that there are lots and lots of decent fans of Doctor Who out there too.

Doug - guard your privacy zealously and keep the pressure on Amazon to sort this out. Very shabby behaviour from the hoaxer.
