An actress of outstanding beauty. However, acting was hardly what she herself saw as her main achievement in life! Oh well, another sixties icon gone....

Was just reading on another site how the pilot episode of The Champions was filmed as a feature length episode but was cutdown with the trimmed footage now seemingly missing. "It emerged later that the pilot episode was actually filmed as a feature length production which was wrapped around The Champions making a recording to give to Tremayne and eventually deciding to keep their secret. Should these additional scenes ever surface it would make for a mouth-watering DVD extra." www.cultv.co.uk/champions.htm

The pilot (which was shot later out of sequence),apparently took a month to film, which is a long time in television production, so that may confirm any extra scenes made?
RIP Alexandra you lovely,lovely girl.

Sad news...I like many thousands of teenage boys at the time had a crush on Alexandra
she was a "Stoater" as they say up here and a lovely person to boot. (The two don't often go hand in hand)

As a boy watching Champions she was always talk of the playground. So sad she has gone.
