Interesting to see this again. I remember thinking at the time it was a weird choice for Children in Need night and not all that funny.
I think this was 1995, not 1994 as only one KUA episode was made that year (the Christmas special), plus you can see the keypad from the burglar alarm Hyacinth got in the 1995 series.
I would think it isn't 'lost' as such, perhaps just not repeated owing to being a freebie for CIN night, like Doctor Who: Dimensions in Time. It had nothing to do with Halloween either!
The Mr Blobby thing was made for Noel's House Party and not CIN.
There was an outtake from this where David Griffin (Emmett) fell over on entering the house which was shown a few times on Auntie's Bloomers.
Thanks for sharing, Jason!

I remember seeing this thread from back in the day and recall seeing the same blooper you mention from this short but as i hadn't seen this sketch before, i couldn't place the blooper with the other episodes. I have seen all five series and Christmas specials of KUA many times but not this special sketch until two days ago.

Geoffrey Hughes (Onslow) was my second cousin so I've seen most KUA many times!

I've been rereading my posts from ten years ago. Now, I was going to say, it's still possible this video was simply taken from the bonus section of a US DVD set. However, I can find no mention of children in need on any boxset.

I'm having a hard time which US release says that a Comic Relief of any kind is part of any US set. I miss this sort of thing very easily but I have both and I am not seeing it. If you can point me to where it says that I'd be appreciative.

I'm wondering if it was a bootleg box-set?
