One thing I often wonder, if the large haul/omnirumour is true and we have to bide our time, why pick Enemy and Web as the two initial reveals? Were they just found first so were restored first? Was Enemy the only complete story in the haul? If it's a "large haul", then you would expect there to be more complete stories or completion of partial stories, so why then release Web with an episode still missing? I'm convinced that the choices of Enemy and Web were very deliberate -- a second tier but complete story, and a first tier but incomplete story -- as an experiment to measure several things, including appetite for iTunes delivery in general, fan status versus actual sales, and whether the market would tolerate a partial story release. Having the same TARDIS crew for both would help control for fan preference. My feeling is that we are now waiting for March 2015 and what we will get is a launch of the BBC's own video service which will supplant iTunes in the UK (with iTunes still handling non-UK distribution) going live with a big reveal. Possibly not everything found would be available right away but at least two heavy hitters to get people interested in the Beeb's competing service.

The most interesting point is that the only reference linking 'Web of Fear' and 'Enemy of the World', in all the mess of conflicting rumours in 2013, was one sole instance where they were jointly linked to 'Marco Polo', by Bleeding Cool on August 24th last, something which implies that 'Marco Polo' is most probably the other story found.
None of the other rumours which were reported turned out to have any basis of fact, that one was the only one which events later showed had some actual truth to it.
The truth of what he was saying was confirmed when the author of the article, Rich Johnston, was banned from Gallifrey Base because of his report. And by the official announcement of the recovery of 'Web' and 'Enemy'.
There has been a lot of ill-informed speculation as to why 'Web' and 'Enemy' were chosen for release. In fact, the reason is quite obvious. Episode 6 of 'Enemy' has a cliff-hanger ending, and the start of Episode 1 of 'Web' does not make sense on its own, as it resolves that cliff-hanger. It would not be practicable to put either serial on sale to the general public on its own; they necessarily have to be made available together, since they support each other because of the cliffhanger linking them.
There is no credibility in the ludicrous rumour that 90+ episodes have been found. If that were so, the Restoration Team would be contracted to the BBC until 2025 or later.
And it would be impossible, obviously, to get 90+ episodes ready for a March 2015 release date.
We can perhaps look forward to a modest recovery, of one more complete or nearly complete serial, most likely 'Marco Polo'; and perhaps one or two random 'orphaned' episodes, possibly completing a serial that is already mostly in existence, such as 'The French Revolution' from the same season.
Edit: The likelihood is that the choice of 'Web of Fear' as the lead story for release was dictated by its being the most high profile of the serials actually recovered, which means, unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that any Dalek or Cyberman serial has been found, since those would have been the natural choice to lead with, if available.

I suspect that the pre-submitted questions were hand picked and approved by Phil so why answer that question at all if he couldn't discuss it? I think you'll find that it was more a case of self censorship. Those involved in picking the questions chose not to ask many questions which had no hope of an answer.

The admins said that they picked a selection of questions and Phil saw - and approved - all of them before the session began. They didn't say if the questions he answered were all the ones that he was shown though.

They didn't say if the questions he answered were all the ones that he was shown though. What they said was "... we did show him the Qs beforehand, and he agreed to answer all questions.". That sounds like he answered all the ones he was shown. And why not, it's easy enough to sidestep a question with no follow-up.

Yes, you're right- that's what I was trying to say, you just put it more clearly

Of course he would avoid any awkward questions. And give cryptic answers to the others. Stage managed some would say !

Hmmm.I know someone's sure to ask "Are any more missing episodes going to come out?". I can answer either (a)Yes or (b)No,as the case may be.
Or I can always say "When the lotus blossom met the elephant, what name then had the wind?".
(c),I think.

I remember someone conducted an experiment years ago where volunteers asked questions seeking advice about how they should act on issues which worried them. The advisor, who was part of the team would randomly answer "yes" or "no" (but nothing else) to each question. Many,if not the majority, found the advice useful...

Its like watching the prime minister evading questions he does not want to answer ! Never a direct answer, which is why he has something to hide maybe !

You're likely correct about self censorship. He answers questions much like Paul V. It looks like the kind of answers that you would like to get from a question but they really don't tend to tell you very much. Like a friend once said "Ask him what time it is and he'll end up telling you how a wristwatch works" (but you still won't end up knowing what the time is). Exactly dan !

Of course it was always going to be scripted ! To avoid any questions that would be thrown at him ! So guys, what was the point ? None really i guess Just stringing us along until he feels the time is right. And with the BBC new service coming out in march, i guess that might be worth waiting for instead
