For news about the when's and where's, you'll have to read the DWM article! Paul For someone that lives in the furthest place from London and DWM specials cost ~$20 each, can't you give me a little hint...?

Fantastic news! Thank you, Phil! It's a great pity that New Zealand has been left out of the 'loop' in terms of it being available on iTunes. Yeah you will just have to wait for the DVD to come out in R4 land, same as here in the USA

Wonderful news - I can only echo the huge debt of gratitude we owe to Philip and Paul for making this find possible. I remember a time when only four episodes from season 5 were known to exist. We now have over half of it. Mind blowing. Agreed. . These are just as perfect as I imagined them.

Before today we only had one episode of 'The Web of Fear' and five episodes missing. Now it's the other way round. We have one episode of 'The Web of Fear' missing and five episodes existing! AMAZING! I'd much rather have the latter scenario!

Did the NZ censor clips come in useful at-all?
To re-phrase this question - did the copies found in Nigeria have cuts?

Hi guys, brilliant brilliant news. Incredible story, and gives us all hope that some more might be out there. Maybe I am being greedy, but I reckon the last Web of Fear missing episode is out there on a shelf somewhere! Enjoy.

It's kind of strange that if they were from Nigeria that the BBC didn't find them in 1984. or that Web: 3 would be disposed of by the Nigerians but not 1,2, 4,5 and 6

Were some of the episodes 405 and some 625?

Were some of the episodes 405 and some 625? A very good question. The answer is in the forthcoming edition of Doctor Who Magazine! Paul

It would be wonderful if it turned out The Web of Fear was telerecoded off of 625 VTR instead of 405 line VTR. Those clips look very sharp on my moniter screen

I guess I should also add my thanks to the person / people who actually took the initiative to go out and check the real places where these episodes were found, and not just sit at home theorising. Congratulations on proving the doubters wrong. Amazing we have a complete run from Ice Warriors 4 to Web 2, and Season 5 as a whole is looking pretty good. Love the scene in Enemy 1 with Salamander doing his speech! So having watched Web 2 and 4 - it's just as good as I remember it - Hope people who grew up more recently than me aren't too disappointed by 60s TV... A great day for Who fandom, unlikely to be equalled ever again I guess.

I recommend we all buy them on itunes as a sign of our support for this venture. only 9.99 per story. Im installing itunes right now to show my support. £9.99 per story? That's GIVING it away. I had expected I'd be watching a scratchy, damaged, ropey print. But...it's gorgeous. Episode 1 of Enemy is just....spectacular. There are now eight episodes of existing Doctor Who I've never seen. EIGHT. Twists my brain in knots thinking about it. Troughton was so wonderful. And it looked so amazing. God bless absolutely everyone who had ANY part of this. Thank you so much.

Not available in New Zealand. Well you shouldn't have sent it off to Nigeria then! (But thank god you did!)
