Hi all, been a while since I've been on here and a while since I worked on my project. Thought I would show everyone a new CGI clip I've been working on from episode 2 where Lesterson begins to power up a dalek. I stress this is just a clip and also a work in progress. Other reconstructed clips can be found over at my website Whovisions

Hi John,
Great work. Perhaps Loose Cannon can include some of your work in their upcoming revisiting of 'Power'.

WOW! Not only is the CG work exemplary. but you have accomplished something that I frankly have not seen enough of in the animations, capturing the look and feel of the original. From the camera work to the angles and movement, it all flows so well.
Thanks so much for sharing! I am sure that you have made a number of Whovians happy!

Wow, that's really great work! Since the animated recons so far have ranged from good (The Invasion) to migraine inducing (RoT), I'd much rather the BBC would reconstruct the episodes like this.
You know, why shouldn't they release DVDs of reconned stories? I really enjoyed what they did with Galaxy Four. They should be relatively inexpensive to do, no? I guess not enough of a market?

I remember seeing a con video where Dan Hall brought up something like that and it got a mixed response (The Australian con in February).
I like most of the animations so far. RoT was dodgy in parts but everything I've seen of Tenth Planet looks great.

How far do you intend to go with this, are you aiming to do a full recon or do, say the dalek parts to contribute to other recons?

Excellent attempt at a Power recon, well done. Just FYI, it's spelt Whitaker.

Very good work but I'm sure the actual episodes will look even better on DVD when they get released
