Just taken a look at TV Brain and since when did the TV-am 'Good Morning Britain's go missing? I've always noticed any footage used in clip shows has been credited to Moving Image Ltd and a quick Google search reveals the archive was sold on to a company called AP Archive not so long ago?

Good question. AP Archive is the film archive owned and developed by Associated Press. tvbrain.info said 'missing', so that's why I searched....

IIRC Crossroads had 2 special "catchup" episodes, one when Thames (& maybe some other regions) needed to get up to date with the ATV screenings. The other was after the ITV strike to remind viewers what was happening before blackout. Were either of these occidentally counted in the numbering? No,the catch-up episodes weren't counted. The trouble comes from the fact that different regions showed different episodes on different days (sometimes different weeks)and times and occasionally during strikes etc the episode numbers were mixed up as unscheduled episodes may have been shown or, in some regions, episodes missed out entirely. There are also apparently a couple of 'double episodes' which were shown in some regions to allow others to 'catch up' and were stand-alone stories unconnected to other episodes, though their exact details are unconfirmed. Its a complicated series to get exactly right. A number of inserts survive as detailed on this site a few months back and it would be interesting to try to date them - I'd love to use my episode info to have a go at that sometime!

I don't think I've mentioned this before. Most of an episode of 'Power Up', believed to be from 1991, in the time when Sky had taken over the Power Station, but it was still having some BSB shows on it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=POaBSI3T6MU

Ask A Silly Answer. Southern Television 1977 (24 seconds) from YT user Tuppenny Rice. Upload 19 June 2018. "All six episodes of this series hosted by Terry Wogan and featuring Graeme Garden, Alfred Marks, Spike Milligan and Willie Rushton have been wiped. This clip was taken from “21 Years”, a programme which celebrated the first 21 years of Southern Television. They were to last just two more." www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVI6TC5BC7g

It's safe in the archives, '21 Years' - it exists at Wessex and Kal have a copy....
