Was it an actual "video" promo or a film clip that you saw on Youtube, Gary? What I am remembering is something on VT, so it would either be a taped record company promo or the TOTP appearance. Yes, I'd say it's something that, if I've seen it in comparatively recent times, would have been in the last 20 years or so - since the early '90s. Your recollection of a TOTP2 is the sort of place I would be thinking of seeing it too. I do recall it from the '70s too (with the fish-eye lens used, as already stated) although I am almost certain I've seen it a lot more recently as well. It's a mystery although I'd stick my neck out and state that it probably does exist in a broadcast form somewhere or other!

I distinctly recall the fish-eye effect used for the instrumental break on Art For Art's Sake. I just wonder if John Henshall can shed some light on this as I'm still (as we all are) waiting to find out what else he kept (other than Jean Genie) from his days on TOTP. Funny you should think the fish eye lens was used for this Gary , because i seem to recall seeing this as well if its missing then i guess my memory must be from the original showing.

I used to be mates in the 90s with Rick Fenn, the guitarist. Really nice guy.

What's the clip for Art For Art's Sake on that DVD, Nic? Some kind of film or video promo, presumably.

Apart from the totp performance , there was a film promo (deffo not video) of this track. I recall seeing it on a GRANADA REPORTS at the time of release. Does anybody out there have a record of what has been shown on totp 2 over the years.. like you Laurence, I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this exists!

It's also missing the Don't Hang Up promo : www.muzu.tv/10cc/dont-hang-up-music-video/252129/Despite that it's a comprehensive (much more so than the euro hits collection above I have to say) and desirable set: wish it was available SEPERATELY from the £45 box! This is one I'm waiting to come down in price in the sales.

I don't know why they don't just let you buy the DVD separately. I already have the 10cc audio side of things but don't want to buy it all again just to get a few video clips I don't have!

Is the DVD in the box set PAL or the awful NTSC?

If it's a Dutch release, I assume it'll be PAL.
