It looks stunning!Another great release which I will be watching again and again. But BBC/2ENTERTAIN,please make production notes available for the animated episodes! They were missing off ROT for whatever reason but WERE on the Invasion's animated episodes which made the latter a more satisfying release, especially as they contrasted the animated shots with the original camera shots from the 1968 transmission as well as info on the actual production for episodes 2 and 3.

The production notes have to timed to match shot and scene changes. This couldn't be done with TRoT because the animation wasn't finished when the notes were being written.

I hope this is alright. Robert Franks, Bill Evenson and myself recorded a short commentary/review of the animated episode 4 of The Tenth Planet. The podcast is about 26 minutes but I think it sounds alright. Please check it out: The Others Podcast Episode 2: The Tenth Planet Animated

For those who don't want to listen to a podcast, I am very pleased to be able to post a review for the animated version of Episode 4 of The Tenth Planet. This is from the Regeneration set released in the UK on June 24th. The focus of this review is solely on the animation created by Planet 55 of Episode 4. I was not a huge fan of their efforts on The Reign of Terror but does my opinion soften with this effort? Absolutely! It's quite good. Please check out my article. This episode is really a treat! I have included a ton of pics of the animation plus comparison pics between telesnaps and animation to see how closely scenes match up. Please feel free to let other people know about this article. Nice one, thanks for the link! Had similar qualms with ROT's animation myself, thrilled though I was to be seeing them at all!
