I can imagine that in 50 year's time the entire BBC library will be available to every consumer via the net, and that they will be able to dial up and watch anything in existence, for a suitable fee Even then, 80% of the archive is likely to remain completely unwatched.

Very interesting to read that the four Adventure Game episodes were wiped deliberately. Why was this?
You'd have thought that if it was to save space (for example), they'd have wiped twenty and kept four, not wiped four and kept twenty.
