There is an episode of the very sparsely represented Patrick O'Neal, Hazel Court, Richard Wattis A-R comedy series in the Paley Centre Collection. Ep: The Swedish Story. www.paleycenter.org/collection/item/?q=duchess&f=all&c=tv&advanced=1&p=1&item=B:27128Listed at Lost Shows as one of 23 missing episodes out of 26 made. (There is another separate listing for the show in the Paley Centre collection which doesn't have any details. This may be a duplicate listing or another episode(s))

This site had-it no longer functions-a link to the 17/10/1958 episode of Dick and the Duchess 'The Brooch' on Youtube ctva.biz/UK/DickAndTheDuchess.htm I can't remember seeing the link when this thread was last active, and I'm wondering if there's any news of more episodes turning up? Regarding the Paley Centre holdings, there's a review of the series on IMDB by someone who managed to view one (it seems that they do have two) of the episodes, though he doesn't say which one! www.imdb.com/title/tt0050011/reviews?ref_=tt_urv

I really think it's worth highlighting this: whereas 'Dick and the Duchess' was believed to be "sparsely represented" in the archives two years ago, there's now only one episode missing-out of twenty-six.Once upon a time, there would have been dancing in the streets about such a find.OK,'find'. I'd love to have more details on how it was done. Here's a taste of the show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo8FddYPTQg Guests include: Fabia Drake.Eric Barker.Margaret Rutherford.Noel Dyson.Joan Hickson,Warren Mitchell.Irene Handl. And Peter Butterworth has a recurring role.
