Not quite. To be exact, it's listed as "extract exists" www.btinternet.com/~m.brown1/tilldeat.htmThe BFI list having the episode, length 30 minutes, which sounds like the full episode. It's very possible that they only have the extract, and the '30 minutes' is wrong. It's worth checking out. Don't set your hopes too high, though.

It's just a defaul system on their computer - ITV and BBC have the same. Unless you change the status, it defaults to colour and the whole running time. Hence Things to Come at 108m - if that were actually true, the BFI would have some explaining to do....

Till Death Us Do Part - Intolerance
Only small compensation, I know, but I believe part of this exists in audio, as it was featured on an LP issued in the late 60s. I have it somewhere - I'll look it up.
Colin.

Is this the series that featured Wendy Padbury of Crossroads and Dr. Who fame? I'm not sure actually. I can remember Keith Fordyce was the presenter but don't have any recollection of Wendy appearing (although that's not to say she didn't). I remember her well in Crossroads, Dr.Who and Freewheelers though! I'm sure I read somewhere that she was in a "Search for a Star" and that she finished second, can't remember where/when I read it though.

I'm sure I read somewhere that she was in a "Search for a Star" and that she finished second, can't remember where/when I read it though. It could have been Wikipedia or her IMDB entry. In an interview she said her first professional engagement was a non-speaking part on a programme called Tonight(sic), but I believe it was actually the Huw Wheldon arts programme Monitor. It would be great if that turned up. Doctor Who undoubtedly brought her greatest fame but for me she is always Sue from Freewheelers. ~iw

You just jogged my memory, Ray! I've seen clips from that programme used in the Dankworth celebration a while ago. So it definitely exists.

Yep! It does indeed!
IIRC, only one Monitor doesn't exist. The BBC did take better care of """high""" arts programmes - as a percentage of saved shows - than they did of any other genre of TV in the early days; this seems to be true up until archiving became the norm, and also appeared to be the case at Southern Television as well (their Glyndebournes often survive,)

That's excellent Ray, thanks for posting. I hope one day I'll be able to see it.
(Actually I haven't checked that either, perhaps someone will tell me now that its's out on DVD!!)
