Does anyone know anything about this show.
I know that Jimmy Tarbuck presented it in 1966 and Kaleidoscope guide mentions 1969 as well.
But whats puzzling me is I've found references to Des O'Connor presenting it in 1967! Kaleidoscope mentions nothing of this.
So can anyone put me out of my misery - Did Des present it at any point and does anything exist from any of the programmes still?

The answer to your question is yes. However, it was sometime around 1960/61 that I remember him as compere. He introduced the start of one show in a large 'mock-up' of Gerry Anderson's Supercar (Des O'Connor being dressed as Mike Mercury).
So, it would be after the series Supercar had become remarkably popular with the ITV viewing public.

I know of these: 13-04-58 Val Parnells Sunday Night At The London Palladium Introduced by Tommy Trinder with Pinky & Perky, Sarah Vaughan, The John Tiller Girls, Marvin Rainwater, Dick Shawn. 26-09-65 The New London Palladium Show Introduced by Jimmy Tarbuck with Pete & Dud, Frankie Vaughan, The Searchers. Last bit missing at end cutting off Pete & Dud sketch. 24-10-65 The New London Palladium Show Introduced by Michael Bentine & Jimmy Tarbuck with Cliff Richard, The Fortunes, Frank Berry, Topo Gigio, The Bachelors. 20-03-66 The London Palladium Show (Colour) Introduced by Jimmy Tarbuck with Roy Orbison. 03-12-61 Sunday Night At The London Palladium w Norman Wisdom and Bruce Forsythe.

There's also the complete edition of SNAP on the Palm Sunday 1964 tape.

Which show (obviously 1965) has the Worker sketch with Charlie Drake talking about Kenneth Tynan? There are also clips with Spike Milligan and George Raft appearing on the show. Both look like they must be mid '60s editions.

"20-03-66 The London Palladium Show (Colour) Introduced by Jimmy Tarbuck with Roy Orbison."
A colour show from 1966? Not heard of this before! Was this on film or VT and in what format does it survive?

Was this on film or VT and in what format does it survive? 405 line NTSC VT . Apparently when an engineer went to play it years later he naturally assumed it would be 525 line but it was not the case. Lew Grade wanted to move to colour as quickly as possible. 405 line NTSC was the quickest route, but obviously this idea was still born. The later colour 1966 editions of the Palladium show were recorded in 525 line and had hosts like Lorne Greene , presumably because Lew was a little peeved by the enormous success of Rediffusion's ' Hippodrome ' show in the USA (the first foreign show on colour tape to be sold to the US network)?

Would anyone know whether the edition (I think it would be early 1967) featuring The Rolling Stones performing 'Lets Spend the Night Together' (the infamous one where they refused to appear on the revolving stage at the end of the show) still exists? It crops up in various Stones biogs, but I've never seen or heard it anywhere?

An audio clip survives.
It's a rather funky version Of It's All Over Now if my memory serves me well.

Yes, the whole performance seems to be out there as an off-air audio bootleg. The tracks were It's All Over Now, Ruby Tuesday, Let's Spend The Night Together and Connection.
