i have it on dvd.it looks good but i wish west wing studios could have done it from scratch.and David C:i think it's a good idea but i think west wing studios should do it because they colourized some other tv shows too.

Just watched ep 1 on my fairly big lcd tv and the quality does is really good if ambassadors and evil are the same quality i am happy. Simon

I think the re-colourisation works perfectly fine. The sky 'turned' yellow from time to time, but given that all the colour was pulled from the most unlikely of sources, it's a splendid job by all involved.

I'll go with that, I think it's absolutely marvellous. Expectations have improved since the old VHS days after all, and in my opinion it looks better than the first pass at the restored "Daemons", which was considered good enough for broadcast back in 1993. I'm sure some or all members of the Restoration Team read this board, so I'll say thanks - the results are much better than we were led to expect.

I've watched it on my Plasma (full HD) set and the old analougue set I've still got in the bedroom, it definitely looks better on the Plasma! Usually the "older" ones look better on the "older" set. Interesting how Pertwees "blue" jacket looks more purple in places and the brass buttons on uniforms look "brassier".

Having viewed the 1st episode of Invasion of the Dinosaurs i would say the colour quality of the episode looks great i think the episode is on a par with the rest of the colour episodes of the story
