Only 12 episodes of the UK version of Fraggle Rock is known to exist, and they've all been released on DVD.

After getting into the MHP / TBS scene a few years ago I started to compile all the oldest presentation from my collection on to one tape.
There wasn't anything too exciting, the best to mind was a few minutes of CBBC from 8/6/1990.
It covered the end of Eve Spy, an entire Newsround & some trailers.
It used to run into the opening of the Round The Twist episode Lucky Lips, but some later rerecording cut it short.
When I've got some spare cash I'll have to get something to transfer them onto my hard drive.
There are a lot of programmes which I recorded without editing out any ad breaks, these can be nostalgic after 10+ years.

I used to routinely record the whole of CITV from 1993 for a few months, recorded over some of the tapes, but kept most with a series called "Delta Wave" on.

As a great fan of CBBC-before they went to constant repeats of a handful of shows-I especially used to like it when the links were done by guest presenters, actors from The Worst Witch or Tracy Beaker. Here's one of those where-the-hell--is-it-now questions: In two special episodes Tracy Beaker organised a event to raise funds for Pudsey Bear.Cue meeting various celebrities. Then viewers were allowed to vote on who should be guest of honour at the event.Out of two possibles, the fools didn't choose Anne Foy! But was the alternative shot, with Tracy saying 'I'm so glad that you won,Ann.' Really can't see this being released soon.If ever.

On Fraggle Rock,a review on Amazon says that all but a few of the Fulton Mackay Fraggles are missing. As for VHS (and Beta) tapes pre-dating the 60s,people are constantly updating their collection, from transferring 78rpm discs to cassette,to transferring cine-film or older videotapes to VHS for convenience of viewing.Didn't Bob Monkhouse upgrade some of his tape collection, for instance?
