I seem to remember seeing an old bbc C1970 documentary about stunt men called "Dying for a Living". It featured Derek Ware and Havoc and contained a few references to Dr Who including Jon Perwee running a Primord down with the stuntman showing off the scar. I think it would make a good extra unless it's already on a dvd?

The relevant parts have already appeared on the Inferno DVD.

What hasn’t appeared yet is the Blue Peter sequence with the Rollykin Daleks and the miniature Tardis. I wonder what that’s being saved for.
I’m still gutted – but not surprised – that the Web Planet trailer doesn’t survive. It was a real hoot, and deliberately so.

You mean the one from February 1967? Long gone, I'm afraid.

Richard,
Feb ’67 – yes, that sounds about right. I’d been led to believe it existed [by a member of the Restoration Team as I recall] and now I hear it doesn’t! How odd. This must be one of the few very missing Blue Peter episodes. How come it got lost?
As I remember, the team showed how to take a photograph with a double exposure to make it appear that a miniature Tardis was taking off [from a sandy planet if my memory isn’t playing tricks] while surrounded by half a dozen toy Daleks.
Was there a clip used from an actual episode of Doctor Who? I don’t remember one but it was a long time ago.
Anthony

It's one of a quite a number of Blue Peter editions missing from the 1960s. No clips from the programme are recorded as being used in that edition.

It's a shame that Blue Peters missing, I still remember watching it. The Daleks piece was the last item on the show and I remember they closed with the Dr Who theme rather than Barnacle Bill. I'm sure they referred to the police box model as a "penny Tardis." And of course the earlier Dalek cakes BP edition opened with the Who theme in 1965.

Some great suggestions all around here.I liked that idea for the Blue Peter clip of the whomobile on that YouTube clip.Had admittedly forgotten about that one.Was thinking in regards to the classic Blue Peter clip from 1973 as used on the Three Doctors DVD release: www.youtube.com/watch?v=acAS8ZrISooHaving a progressive comparison here of these two clips-segments on a future release like "Invasion Of The Dinosaurs" for example.Would be great to see,as a sort of chronological progression of the Whomobile in Doctor Who through the eyes of Blue Peter at the BBC.Just another thought there of course. As I for one am wanting to see more of that presented clip above from 1.56-2.08.Picture quality was quite poor in the represented clip however, hoping the full clip exists in a superior state than the presented footage??Great suggestion there again Simon, and for pointing that clip out.Great bit of footage hidden away there! Shame to hear in regards to the missing Feb' 1967 material. As sounds quite interesting. Cheers,Lance.

This can be checked out,am needing more specific broadcast information here however to assertain any further details? As would go a long way into finding if this clip exists in higher quality in official archives?Or just on the fan-collectors circuit.
Cheers,Lance.

Hi Lance, Just to confirm, that the clip (at least) from Billy Smarts Circus from 1974, does exist on D3 at the BBC. Davidx

Hello David, Thank You very much here for this updated archival information in regards to this clip.Very glad to hear exists on D3. Thank you again for the additional information here. There you have it Simon, who can say here?A great suggestion I think as well, fingers crossed we will be seeing this soon on a perspective release!I still would like to see an Chronological Feature on the Whomobile On BBC TV!Think would make for a fascinating look into a very unique creation in the history of Doctor Who in his Exile! Now if we really want to get technical,it was the Barron's car from the hospital that was the first real Whomobile as seen in "Spearhead From Space" ;D Cheers,Lance.
